Assemblyman Cusick Presents Pedometers to PS 54 Students

Assemblyman Cusick presented pedometers to youngsters participating in the school's "Days of Taste" program, which promotes healthy food choices and lifestyles. The program is designed to expand the children's palates and create a solid understanding of food and nutrition. The pedometers will be used in conjunction with the program to help foster healthy attitudes toward exercise and food – as well as combat childhood obesity.
