Assemblyman Miller Announces Food Drive to Benefit Sacred Heart
December 1, 2009
Assemblyman Mike Miller (38th District) is holding a food drive to benefit Sacred Heart’s food pantry. Sacred Heart helps feed over 60 local families year-round, and seeks to continue supporting these families during the holiday season. Assistance from the community is vital to stocking Sacred Heart’s food pantry, and all donations make a positive difference in the lives of families in need.
The food drive will run December 3-17, 2009. All nonperishable items are welcome, and can be dropped off at the following locations:
- Nulite, located at 87-25 Myrtle Avenue
- Glendale Auto Tech, located at 72-14 73rd Place
- Sacred Heart Rectory, located at 83-17 78th Avenue
- Office of New York State Assemblyman Mike Miller, located 83-91 Woodhaven Boulevard (on the corner of Woodhaven Boulevard and Park Lane South)
