Assemblyman Michael Montesano (R,I,C-Glen Head) is hosting a DWI Prevention Panel on Thursday, September 26, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Chelsea Mansion, located at 34 Muttontown Lane in East Norwich. Open to the public, the panel is intended to both educate residents about the great work being done by state and Nassau County to reduce DWI incidents and potential fatalities and inform our community of additional steps we can take to lower this deadly trend.
There also will be a raffle held at the event, consisting of prizes of a $50 Target gift card and two $25 Subway gift cards. Refreshments will be served and residents are encouraged to RSVP by September 23 with Assemblyman Montesano’s District Office at 516-937-3571. Montesano looks forward to this event and urges all residents concerned with decreasing the number of DWIs in our neighborhoods to attend what should be a lively and informative panel discussion.
“DWIs have long been a scourge of our communities and, while we’ve managed to lower the amount of these tragic incidents, there is still more we can do,” said Montesano. “That’s why I’m urging all residents concerned with DWIs to RSVP before September 23 and attend my prevention panel on September 26. Between our highly-qualified panel and the voices of our communities, we can make our neighborhoods even safer for all our families.”
