Assemblywoman Schimel Reappointed to State Records Council

Albany, New York – Assemblywoman Michelle Schimel was reappointed to the New York State Archives Local Government Records Advisory Council (LGRAC) last week at the council’s quarterly meeting in Albany. Schimel, who was first appointed to the post during her tenure as Town Clerk of North Hempstead, has served on the council for over seven years. LGRAC sets government record policy and administers grants to assist local governments in records management.
