Malliotakis Participates In Read Across America

Assemblywoman Malliotakis reads to a group of Brooklyn children at the Bay Ridge Public Library as part of the Read Across America program.
Assemblywoman Nicole Malliotakis (R,C–Brooklyn, Staten Island) recently participated in the Read Across America program by reading Munro Leaf’s “The Story of Ferdinand” to 30 Brooklyn children at the Bay Ridge Public Library. The event was held in celebration of Dr. Seuss’ 104th birthday.
Read Across America Day is a national program led by the National Education Association. The event is an annual reading motivation and awareness program that calls for every child in every community to celebrate reading on March 2.
