Synthetic Marijuana Ban Is Common Sense For Safety
Assemblywoman Nicole Malliotakis (R C–Brooklyn, Staten Island) issued the following statement:
March 29, 2012
As a co-sponsor of legislation to ban the sale of synthetic marijuana, I am happy to see that the state Department of Health has taken their own action to ban this dangerous substance. Teens across New York have suffered traumatic experiences due to the over-the-counter accessibility of this hazardous product, and banning its sale is a common sense measure to ensure the health and safety of our children.
