As part of his continued commitment to the community, Assemblyman Pete Lopez has scheduled a public outreach meeting for the towns of Schoharie, Esperance and Wright on Friday, May 11. The meeting will take place in the Schoharie High School cafeteria, at 136 Academy Dr. in Schoharie at 7 p.m. “This is home and I am looking forward to spending time with friends and neighbors in my new role as their elected Assemblyman,” stated Lopez. At the meeting, Pete will give a brief overview of the happenings in Albany, and then open the floor for discussion on state and local issues. “It has always been my practice to work closely with the community and to encourage open dialogue where all points of view can be voiced. Our best decisions are made when we can bring people together this way,” Lopez said.
