Assemblyman Pete Lopez (R,C,I – Schoharie) has scheduled a public outreach meeting for Thursday, August 23 at 7 p.m. in the Jefferson School Auditorium.
“Sharing ideas is the best way to spark positive change,” said Lopez. “Keeping a focus on local issues is my priority, and the only way to do that is to keep an open line of communication.”
At the meeting, the Assemblyman will give a brief overview of the happenings in Albany, and then ask members of the community to share their concerns and priorities. Pete is holding this session in order to strengthen awareness of, and attention to, issues affecting our homes, families and businesses.
This is the sixth such meeting the Assemblyman has held within the district, and remains a high priority to his office as he works to give serious attention to the unique needs of the regions within the district.
“Sessions like this are vital to ensuring we meet the needs of all of communities across the district,” said Lopez. “I look forward to meeting with my friends and neighbors in the Jefferson area.”
