A believer in grassroots democracy, Assemblyman Pete Lopez (R,C,I – Schoharie) has scheduled a public outreach meeting for Tuesday, October 16 at 7 p.m. at the Community and Youth Activity Center at 50 Palatine Park Road in Germantown.
“I view my role in serving the families and communities of the 127th District as a partnership,” stated Lopez. “This meeting is a vital part of developing this partnership.”
At the meeting, Lopez will give a brief overview of the happenings in Albany, and then ask members of the community to share their concerns and priorities. Lopez is holding this session in order to strengthen awareness of, and attention to, local concerns and priorities.
“In order to effect change, we need to get back to the grassroots. I look forward to seeing my friends and neighbors at the meeting, and invite them to join me in developing this important partnership,” Lopez said.
