As part of his series of public outreach meetings in the 127th Assembly District, Assemblyman Pete Lopez (R,C,I – Schoharie) will be holding an open meeting for residents of Taghkanic and Gallatin on Monday, November 5.
The meeting will be held at 7 p.m. at the Gallatin Town Hall. This will be the fifteenth such meeting, and all members of the Taghkanic and Gallatin area are encouraged to attend and bring any questions or concerns that they may have about state and local issues.
“It is my goal to form a partnership with the community, and so far we have received very positive feedback,” said Lopez. “These meetings have presented a great opportunity to get to know the people of the 127th Assembly District, and to help strengthen my focus on what‘s important to them.”
At the meeting, Lopez will give a brief overview of the happenings in Albany, and then open the floor for discussion.
“I’m pleased with the progress we’re making to establish an effective, open dialogue and look forward to continuing my work within the 127th Assembly District,” Lopez stated.
