Assemblyman Pete Lopez (R,C,I – Schoharie) has scheduled a second public outreach meeting for Catskill and Athens residents on Thursday, November 8 at 7 p.m. in the Catskill Senior Center.
“I am looking forward to meeting with more residents, farmers and business owners from this area. Catskill and Athens are a critical part of my district, and understanding the needs of the people from this region are very important to me as I work to revitalize the 127th Assembly District,” said Lopez.
At the meeting, Lopez will give a brief overview of the happenings in Albany, and then ask members of the community to share their concerns and priorities. Assemblyman Lopez is holding this session in order to strengthen awareness of, and attention to, local and state issues.
“I would like to encourage all members of the Catskill and Athens community to come and join me at this meeting,” Lopez stated. “Working hand-in-hand with members of the community is the only way to effect positive change.”
