Continuing his series of public outreach meetings in the 127th Assembly District, Assemblyman Pete Lopez (R,C,I – Schoharie) will be holding an open forum on Thursday, November 29.
The meeting will be held at 7 p.m. at the Halcott Grange Hall. All members of the Halcott and Lexington communities are encouraged to attend and bring any questions or concerns that they may have about state and local issues.
“This is the final meeting of this year in an enlightening and very productive series of gatherings across the 127th Assembly District,” said Lopez. “I look forward to sitting down with members of the Halcott and Lexington communities as they share their concerns and priorities.”
During the meeting, the assemblyman will give a brief overview of the happenings in Albany and then open the floor for discussion.
“I have learned much from the people of the 127th Assembly District through these open meetings,” Lopez stated. “Forming a close working relationship with the people that I represent is the only way to make New York a better place to live and work.”
Assemblyman Lopez encourages all members of the community to attend and participate in the discussion of any issues or concerns that they may have. He also looks forward to continuing these open forums next year as he looks toward the upcoming legislative session.
