Assemblyman Goldfeder Wants to hear your ideas on developing the National Grid Manufactured Gas Plant (MGP) Site in Rockaway
The National Grid MGP Site located on Beach 108th Street and Beach Channel Drive in Rockaway is a perfect location to serve as an anchor for development and a hub for transportation. Revitalizing this site, can create a new economic engine to help put Southern Queens and the Rockaway's back on track toward success.
I want to hear from you and what type of development you would like to see at the MGP Site! What do you think would be the best idea to develop at this location for our community and your family? What is your vision?
While we have not received a commitment from National Grid, all of your ideas will be reviewed and incorporated into a single document and will be shared with National Grid for their records on any future development plans.
