Dear Neighbor,
Welcome to my assembly Web site. The site represents my efforts to keep the constituents of the 89th Assembly District better informed about what’s occurring in Albany and how state policies will affect our community.
As your representative, I will continue to work in a bipartisan manner to make Westchester a more affordable place to live by reducing the burdens that state government places on residents and businesses while fighting to maintain quality services for the most vulnerable in society.
By providing tax relief and promoting job creation, I am confident that the Legislature can take the necessary steps to move the state in the right direction during these tough economic times. Lawmakers also must become more creative in order to meet New York’s educational, environmental and health care needs while working within today’s fiscal constraints.
As the ranking Minority Member on the Assembly Veterans’ Affairs Committee, I am also leading the effort to provide our veterans and military personnel with the services they have earned.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding legislation or are in need of assistance in dealing with a state agency, please feel free to contact my district office. My staff and I are here to help.
Sincerely,
Robert J. Castelli
