Education and Globalization Discussion by Education Commissioner and Chair of State Business Council

The global economy and the readiness of students in New York State will be two of the key topics at Assemblywoman Sandy Galef’s public forum on May 11th featuring Education Commissioner Richard Mills and IBM Senior Vice-President Linda Sanford, is Chair of the Business Council of New York State.

Education Commissioner Mills and Business Council Chair Sanford will answer questions from the public after their presentations on Thursday, May 11, 7 to 9 p.m., at Cortlandt Town Hall, 1 Heady Street, Cortlandt Manor.

The event is co-sponsored by several area school districts and organizations in Galef’s 90th Assembly District that includes the towns of Ossining, Cortlandt, and the city of Peekskill in Westchester County, and the towns of Putnam Valley, Philipstown, and Kent in Putnam County.
