Real Property Tax Committee on Cable TV

Local cable television will air the first public roundtable of the New York State Assembly Real Property Taxation Committee held recently in Cortlandt Manor.

Committee Chair Assemblywoman Sandy Galef moderated the roundtable on ways other than the local property tax to fund our schools. Roundtable participants included representatives from the New York State United Teachers, New York State League of Women Voters, Fiscal Policy Institute, New York School Boards Association, and the State Office of Real Property Services.

The event will be broadcast on Cablevision at the following times:

• Wappingers Falls System, Channel 21: Sundays, 9pm, November 12, 19, 26 & December 3
• Ossining/Peekskill System, Channel 15/96: Saturdays, 5:30pm, November 18, 25, & December 2, 9
• Yorktown System, Channel 22: Fridays, 3:30pm, November 17 & December 1, 8, 15
