Galef Hosts Red Cross Community Readiness Meeting
February 28 event to educate community, family, workplaces on disaster readiness

Assemblywoman Galef and the Westchester and Putnam chapters of the American Red Cross will host a public meeting on preparing for natural and man-made disasters. The meeting will be held on:

The Red Cross will give a presentation designed specifically for community members to help them to be “Red Cross Ready” for natural and man-made disasters. The presentation will cover steps families and individuals can take to prepare themselves, their homes and workplaces, and their communities in order to most effectively respond to emergencies.
