Assemblywoman Sandy Galef discusses energy efficient shared services with Northern Westchester Action Coalition members Croton Mayor Leo Wiegman and Herb Oringel.
Wiegman and Oringel describe NWEAC, a group of 14 municipalities in Northern Westchester who are working on ways to become more energy efficient. NWEAC will enable them to share services which will cut costs to each municipality, saving the residents within these municipalities money.
“Now more than ever, it is important for all levels of government to work together. These shared services can save money while making municipal buildings and private homes more energy efficient,” Galef said. “I am delighted that Leo and Herb joined me for this very informative discussion so everyone can see what they are working towards accomplishing.”
