Assemblywoman Galef and Milt Hoffman Discuss What Should Westchester County Government Look Like in the Future on “Dear Sandy”

January 13, 2010

Assemblywoman Sandy Galef and Milt Hoffman discuss steps Westchester County Government and local municipalities should be taking to lower taxes.

Assemblywoman Sandy Galef hosts Milt Hoffman, retired senior editor of The Journal News on her television show “Dear Sandy”. Galef and Hoffman discuss Westchester County Government and how it has changed in the past as well as how it should continue to develop in the future.

Galef and Hoffman talk about why Westchester County and its local governments may be thinking about restructuring themselves to help lower the high tax burden in the county and Hoffman details his support for consolidating local services within Westchester.

“I’m glad Milt joined me for an informative discussion on how county government works and what can be improved,” said Galef. “It remains important to look at ways all governments can work together, whether through consolidation or sharing services, which will save taxpayers money. Milt is an expert in the field of Westchester County Government and I appreciate him sharing his knowledge on the subject.”
