“Last winter, the severe snow storm of February 23-25 brought long term power outages to much of the Hudson Valley and surrounding area. Often, the protocol followed by a utility company after a loss of service is unclear to residents. On this program, Sandy Miller, Jim Salmon, and I discussed what their respective companies have done to expediently restore power,” says Galef. Miller and Salmon also discuss how their respective companies aim to improve and facilitate faster responses for future power shortages, and reveal money and seasonal energy saving tips.
