State Assemblywoman Sandy Galef will kick off a series of town meetings around her Assembly District on Thursday, February 3rd at the Ossining Public Library, followed on Saturday, February 5th in Croton and Garrison. Annually, Galef invites her constituents to meet with her to discuss issues of state and local concern. The following week, she will hold meetings on Saturday, February 12th in Putnam Valley and Cold Spring, then on Thursday, February 17th in Peekskill.
Galef will cover topics such as the economy, the state budget and ongoing deficit, consolidating and sharing services, and property tax issues. She encourages input from the community, including ideas and suggestions for what needs to be done to improve conditions in New York.
