
Tonight, Assemblywoman Sandy Galef will screen video footage of her recent trip to Pennsylvania to learn more about hydraulic fracturing for natural gas, commonly known as hydrofracking. The Assemblywoman traveled to Bradford County, PA in February to meet with community leaders, elected officials, and residents and see firsthand how hydrofracking has affected their communities. The event will feature an approximately one hour movie of footage taped during the trip, followed by a conversation between the Assemblywoman and the attendees about implications for hydrofracking in New York. The event details are as follows:
