Assemblywoman Galef is joined by Maggie Whitlum and Terry O’Brien of the Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival on her television show “Dear Sandy.”
The episode discusses the Festival, how it has grown and plans for the future. Additionally, the Festival has education programs that benefit the community. Whitlum and O’Brien share the positive impact the Festival has had on local communities and what sets the Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival apart from other theaters. The 2012 season will run from mid-June through Labor Day weekend.
“The Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival puts on wonderful events every year, and I am pleased that Maggie and Terry joined me on my show to share all that their organization has to offer,” said Assemblywoman Galef. “I always make a point to attend as many of their plays as possible. They are wonderful productions and I hope all will be encouraged to attend Shakepeare this summer.”
