Assemblywoman Galef Hosts TV Special Featuring High School Students Who Intern for the State
The latest installment of Assemblywoman Sandy Galef’s periodic television program “Dear Sandy” highlights the tremendous interning program that Assemblywoman Galef offers. To discuss their experiences while interning for the state, Assemblywoman Galef is joined by high school students Victoria Cafarelli, Amelia Clements, Jonah Joselow, and Jacob Sarkozi. The students have interned in Assemblywoman Galef’s district office during high school and elaborate upon their experiences on this half-hour long program. Ms. Cafarelli and Ms. Clements are both juniors at Ossining High School (OHS) and have been interns for Galef since 8th grade. Mr. Joselow has just graduated from OHS and will be attending Georgetown University in the fall. Mr. Sarkozi graduated from Briarcliff High School and will begin his studies at Tulane University this August. Building upon their experiences in Assemblywoman Galef’s office, the four all plan to study politics throughout their undergraduate years. This episode, entitled “Assembly Internships,” will air on Fridays in July.
