Assemblywoman Sandy Galef is joined by Taconic Opera Sopranos Vittoria Miranda and Lindy Wilkinson.
Miranda and Wilkinson explore with Assemblywoman Galef the challenges and rewards of mounting regional opera and the pleasure they experience watching their audiences grow. They also discuss the satisfaction they feel when performing for school children. They explain the roles that exist for professionals as well as volunteers, and how important the whole enterprise is to opera lovers. Galef talks with them about how they became opera singers, the training they had to undertake, and what makes their efforts so satisfying.
“ I am pleased to able to share with a wider audience all there is to know about the great work the Taconic Opera Company is doing in our area, so that even more people can have their lives enriched by these performances,” said the assemblywoman.
