Assemblywoman Galef Discusses Stimulating the Economy for Local Business on “Dear Sandy” TV Show

Assemblywoman Sandy Galef hosts Paul Vitale, VP Government & Community Relations of the Business Council of Westchester, and Michael Oates, President and CEO of the Hudson Valley Economic Development Corporation (HVEDC), on her television show “Dear Sandy.” Galef, Vitale, and Oates discuss the economy, and how to stimulate business in New York.

The conversation centered around some of the areas that these groups are focusing on to entice businesses to the area.They discuss how New York State can reduce the burdens that hinder business and might be less likely to draw them to the state.

“Now more than ever, it is important for government and business to work together. Communicating and collaborating can help the economy, improve employment opportunities and make it easier for business to succeed,” Galef said. “I am delighted that Paul and Michael joined me for this very informative discussion so everyone can see what their organizations are working towards accomplishing.”
