Student Interns Accompany Assemblywoman Galef to Albany During the Last Week of Session
June 27, 2003

State Assemblywoman Sandy Galef (90th A.D.) is shown with two local interns who are participating in an internship program at the Assemblywoman’s district office in Ossining.
The two interns (pictured from left to right), Sondra Dietz, a Garrison resident and senior at Salisbury University, and Joanna Puchalski, a recent graduate of Yorktown High School, who will be attending Fordham University in the fall, accompanied the Assemblywoman to Albany during the last week of session, a very exciting and busy time in the State Capitol.
The internship program allows students to work on constituent issues, do research for state legislation, and get involved in the issues affecting their community and their state.
