January 9, 2012
On Monday January 9th 2012, New York State Assemblyman Sean Ryan was officially introduced to his colleagues as a member of the New York State Assembly. Assemblyman Ryan was elected in a special election on September 13th to complete the term of former Assemblyman Sam Hoyt. Although today marked Assemblyman Ryan’s first official day in the Assembly, he was proud to participate in the special legislative session in December, which saw the passage of historic tax reform legislation.
“It has been my distinct honor to represent the people of the 144th district since I was elected back in September,” said Assemblyman Ryan. “As this Legislative session kicks off, I look forward to partnering with my colleagues and the Governor to continue to create an Albany that the people of New York can be proud of.”
