Silver and Rabbi Butman Light Menorah in Celebration of Chanukah

Assembly Speaker Sheldon Silver (right) (D-Manhattan) joined Rabbi Shmuel M. Butman (left), director of the Lubavitch Youth Organization, for the third-night lighting of the world’s largest Chanukah Menorah in Central Park. The tradition of lighting the Menorah is part of the celebration for the 8-day Jewish festival of lights.
