Emergency Food and Water Site Information From Speaker Sheldon Silver

As part of Assembly Speaker Sheldon Silver’s efforts to reach out and help New York City residents struggling with the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy, Silver is alerting residents to the emergency food and water distribution sites that are available today in Manhattan between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. at the following locations:
West 27th Street between 9th and 10th Avenues; East 10th Street between Avenues C and D; and Catherine Street between Cherry and Monroe Streets.
Other locations are: Pitt Street and East Houston Street; Confucius Plaza at Division Street; and 413 Grand Street (water only).
