Students and Staff Thank Speaker Silver for his Support of After School Programs

Students and staff from the Lower East Side’s Grand Street Settlement Beacon Center and the YWCA After School program at Murry Bergtraum High School traveled to Albany February 10, 2004. They visited Speaker Sheldon Silver, thanked him for his continued support of after school programs, and asked the State Legislature to support after school programs in the upcoming legislative session.
