Assemblyman Steve Katz (R,I-Yorktown) will be kicking off his 2012 Mobile Office Hours tour at the Carmel Town Hall tomorrow evening from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm. All members of the community are invited and encouraged to attend this informal opportunity to meet one-on-one with the assemblyman.
“Last year’s tour of Mobile Office Hours was very successful in terms of providing constituents with a casual way to meet, talk about the issues, and get to know each other better. Consequently, I was better able to take their voice directly to Albany and ensure their real views are represented. I look forward to continuing the tour this year,” said the assemblyman.
During 2011, Assemblyman Katz held 14 Mobile Office Hours appearances in the seven towns within the 99th Assembly District, in addition to holding a monthly Town Hall that traveled throughout the towns as well. He will be continuing that tour this year (please see below for the upcoming events). Unless he is detained due to legislative or budgetary proceedings, or by an emergency, the assemblyman plans to meet personally with constituents at each event. He also will have on hand his local community liaison at each event to make sure constituents’ concerns are addressed in a timely and efficient manner.
All members of the public and media are invited to attend this event for a one-on-one opportunity to meet with Assemblyman Katz. No reservations or appointments are required.
