Assemblyman Steve McLaughlin (R,C-Melrose) yesterday joined the Assembly Minority Conference in hosting its second annual Sportsmen and Outdoor Recreation Legislative Awareness Day in Albany. The lawmakers were joined by Chuck Cunningham, Director of Political Affairs for the National Rifle Association (NRA), and thousands of outdoor enthusiasts from across the state.
“Today’s event was a wonderful opportunity for sportsmen’s groups from around our state to meet their legislators and discuss the important role of outdoor sports,” said McLaughlin. “This event helps to showcase the positive impact that outdoor sports have on the economy of New York State.”
