McLaughlin: Albany International Job Losses Are A Blow To Capital District Economy

Legislative Statement by Assemblyman Steve McLaughlin (R,C-Melrose)
November 18, 2011
I am sad to see more jobs leaving New York. The Assembly Minority Conference has introduced bill after bill that would reduce taxes, lower regulations and make it less expensive to do business in New York. The downstate liberals on the other side of the aisle refuse to let these bills come to the floor for a vote. Meanwhile, a business that had been in New York for more than a century, Albany International, moved to business-friendly New Hampshire earlier this year, and it is sad to see these jobs go. It's a disgrace.
