February 27, 2013

Assemblyman Steve McLaughlin welcomes Doyle Middle School students and teachers to the Capitol Wednesday, February 27, 2013.
Assemblyman Steve McLaughlin (R,C,I-Melrose) recently welcomed students from Doyle Middle School in Troy to the State Capitol for a tour of the state house and Legislative Office Building. McLaughlin also brought the students to the Assembly chamber to see live proceedings of legislators passing bills.
“It was wonderful to welcome these scholar students from Doyle Middle School to our state Capitol today,” said McLaughlin. “Each student who visited is affiliated with either Doyle Middle School’s National Junior Honor Society or the Student Council. These students are clearly excelling in their studies with great guidance by their teachers, and maybe someday not too far off, a few of these students will be on the Assembly floor representing their community.”
