Assemblyman Tony Jordan (R,C-Jackson) joined Minority and Majority colleagues as well as state agricultural leaders to voice their unified opposition to the Farmworkers Fair Labor Practices Act.
“Today’s ‘Dairy Day’ event in Albany showcased our leading dairy and agricultural producers,” said Jordan. “The reality is if this bill passes, events like today will be relics of the past as New York’s agricultural industry will no longer revolve around the production of dairy, apples, cranberries, and other fruits and vegetables. New York’s dairy industry, currently the third-largest milk producer in the nation, will be non-existent.”
