Assemblyman Tony Jordan was pleased to welcome four members of the Webalos I Den from Pack 27 and their dads to the state Capitol. Jordan, a Den co-leader and father to one of the young scouts, was able to give the children a tour of the Capitol and recognize the pack’s achievements on the floor of the Assembly. A resolution honoring the 100th year anniversary of the Boy Scouts was passed unanimously.
“Throughout its 100-year existence, the Boy Scouts of America has taught young men the importance of upholding the values and ideals that this country was founded upon, and the knowledge and life skills to not only succeed as adults, but to be honorable leaders in the community,” said Jordan.
