Assemblyman Tony Jordan (second from left) joins Warren and Washington County Fire Coordinators Brian LaFlure and Ray Rathbun, and Town of Kingsbury Supervisor Jim Lindsay at the grand opening of the new EMS training facility.
“The opening of our new EMS training center is an incredible achievement for both Warren and Washington counties, which partnered to fund this important facility for our community,” said Jordan. “The efforts of our first responders to improve emergency services to even the most rural parts of our region is commendable. This new training center will prove beneficial to a large portion of Upstate New York and, most importantly, here locally. I thank all those who played a part in its creation.”
The center was established with aid from a Local Government Efficiency grant, which was awarded to the counties in 2006. Jordan says the EMS training center will provide focused instruction to nearly 50 fire and emergency response operations across the region.
