Elden Elementary Fourth Graders Say Merry Christmas to Silver Fox Members

Assemblyman Will Barclay (R,C,I—Pulaski) attended a holiday event held today at the Silver Fox Senior Social Club in Baldwinsville. Fourth graders from Elden Elementary School cut a tree down, transported the tree by sled to the senior center and decorated the tree today with about 25 seniors. The groups ate lunch, sang Christmas carols, decorated Christmas cookies and read Christmas stories together. Barclay was invited to participate in the event to talk to the kids about how their deed today was a good example of citizenship and community service and to encourage them in their efforts to reach out in their community. Fourth Grade Teacher Aaron Bullis helped organize the event with the social club. Town Supervisor Barry Bullis and Baldwinsville Mayor Joe Saraceni also participated in the event.
