Child Advocacy Center Receives Recognition for Work

Assemblyman Will Barclay (R,C,I—Pulaski) presented the Oswego County Child Advocacy Center’s Executive Director Karrie Damm with a resolution acknowledging the work they do to help children who have been sexually abused. April is Child Sexual Abuse Prevention Month and Child Abuse Awareness Month. Barclay was a sponsor of the resolution (K241) that was adopted by the New York State Assembly. An embossed copy of the resolution was presented to Damm at the center in Fulton. The Child Advocacy Center works with local schools, counselors, and police to help provide care, therapy and resources to children who are victims of sexual, physical, emotional abuse, or negligence.
