April 8, 2003- Assemblyman Philip Ramos - joined by Barbara Bracciodeta, president of the Central Islip PTA, and Joe Albertus of the Brentwood Civic Association - hand delivered over 2,000 postcards and letters regarding the governor's cuts to education to the governor's Capitol office. However, having traveled hundreds of miles from Suffolk County to Albany, they were told to take them to the Capitol mailroom by the governor's office.
