In these tough economic times we must help businesses grow and create new jobs in our community. I have worked hard to ensure middle class families and small businesses have economic opportunities here in Islip.

I've sponsored legislation to help minority and women-owned businesses and secured a $750,000 grant to the Urban League of Long Island for an Islip community center that creates an economic incubator for small businesses and provides job training.
