Assemblywoman Michelle Schimel

Dear Resident:

As someone who drives along Northern Boulevard (NY Route 25A) almost daily, several months ago I noticed that the road was badly in need of repair. I immediately contacted the New York State Department of Transportation (DOT) and advocated that they make Route 25A a top priority in terms of their road work. And they listened. Now the road is as smooth as glass.

I would like to thank the DOT for the repairs and improvements they made to this heavily traveled road. I also want to thank everyone who contacted my District Office to express their concerns about the condition of Northern Boulevard.

I wish you and your family a happy holiday season and safe travels. As always, if you would like information on a state related matter, please feel free to call my District Office at (516) 482-6966.

Sincerely,
