Meet your new Assemblyman, Ed Ra.

Nice to meet you. Albany has focused far too long on partisan politics rather than good public policy. Our elected officials lost sight of who they were elected to represent: our communities. I’m ready to get to work for our community, for the overburdened taxpayers, and for our small businesses.

I’m a lifelong resident of Franklin Square. When you’re raised here, you should be able to afford to stay here. My wife Laura and I are aware of the challenges that Long Islanders face each day. That’s why families across Long Island demand a fair property tax cap, and revitalization in our local economies through jobs and by ending burdensome regulations.

I’m ready to get to work for our communities.

The RA Plan:
  • Pass a property tax cap with unfunded mandate relief;

  • Get our fair share of funding for our community schools;

  • Promote small business development that will bring good-paying jobs to our community;

  • Eliminate the onerous MTA payroll tax;

  • Provide incentives and opportunities for our younger people to stay; and

  • Make Belmont Raceway great again.

HOW CAN I HELP YOU?
