Designed to connect youth and their parents to fun, constructive summer activities, this "resource fair" is being organized by the Crown Heights Coalition.

Emergency Preparedness Town Hall Meeting:

I am partnering with the American Red Cross to bring you information and answer your questions about keeping yourself and your family safe during an emergency. Learn to create a family disaster plan, build an emergency supply kit, and keep loved ones safe and informed during times of disaster.

Shoot Hoops Not Guns Annual Basketball
Classic and Community Weekend:
June 22-24

My team and I will play against the police officers of the 77th precinct to get things started, but the rest of the weekend is all about a public basketball tournament along with games and fun for the whole family. For more information, call my office at (718) 756-1776.

First Annual Damon Allen Day of Unity:
June 30
Brower Park, 10 a.m. until sunset

The Damon Allen Foundation is sponsoring a day of rides, food, performances and games for our community, as well as a candlelight vigil after sunset, all in memory of local hero Damon Allen and all victims of violence across our neighborhoods. The Crown Heights Coalition and I are proud to team up with the Damon Allen Foundation to bring you this event.
