I am writing to invite you and your family to the Community Volunteer Fair that I, together with my Assembly colleague Jim Brennan and Congregation Beth Elohim, New York Methodist Hospital, Social Action Committee and Community Board 6 are sponsoring. The Community Volunteer Fair will take place on Thursday, May 5th, from 6:00 - 8:00pm at Congregation Beth Elohim located on 8th Avenue and Garfield Place.

Over 50 neighborhood service, cultural and athletic organizations, including those that focus on the environment, children, recreation, youth, women, health, the arts, community service and the elderly will all be there. They depend on volunteers like you. Take the time to stop by, visit with our neighborhood groups and discover how to get involved in our community.

I am sure there will be something there that will interest you and your entire family.
