I am proud to work closely with senior citizens in my district to ensure they have access to all the resources they deserve. This year on Staten Island we led a grassroots effort, which successfully ended proposed cuts to the Community Agency for Senior Citizens (CASC), the Friendship Clubs and Meals-on-Wheels. In Bay Ridge, we collected funds for the Miles for Meals Walkathon to support a meal-delivery program for home-bound seniors.
