Cusick Honored at Delta Day at the United Nations

Assemblyman Michael Cusick spoke in Manhattan at a conference on teen dating violence sponsored by Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, a nationwide group seeking to highlight the importance of combating such violence and developing strategies to protect and empower young women.

Cusick, who has made teen dating violence one of his signature issues, introduced legislation last month to establish curriculum in the schools on the topic.

"Teen dating violence is an issue that has no boundaries," said Cusick. "It is a most pressing and significant issue and deserves the attention it has been getting."
