Millionaires don’t need another tax break

Assemblywoman Carmen E. Arroyo:
72 percent – almost 3 out of every 4 – New Yorkers agree that millionaires don’t need another tax break.1

If we don’t stop this tax break, New Yorkers making over $1 million will enjoy a tax break of about $87,500 – in addition to the hefty windfall that millionaires will get from the Bush-era tax cuts.

If we simply stop this tax break, we keep almost $4 billion to invest in jobs, education and balancing the budget.

It’s a simple choice – more tax cuts for millionaires or more help for the middle class.
