Assemblyman Ken Zebrowski: Answers Rockland taxpayers’ call for tax cap

Assemblyman Ken Zebrowski sponsored the tax cap as the first step toward making Rockland more affordable, but he knows more must be done in the form of mandate relief. That’s why he authored bills that would:

Cap increases for local government Medicaid costs at 2 percent (A.8234)

Reduce overhead costs for municipalities by allowing them to share services and jointly administer municipal employee benefits (A.6079)

Create more efficiency in our schools by allowing certain duplicate internal audits to be performed every three years instead of every year, saving New York school districts $25 million over the next three years (A.8571)
